Like most people, I would like to live in a world where I have complete control over my personal data, where I can trust interactions with people and businesses, and where this confidence enables me to do everything instantly and always online. What I really want though, what really motivates me, is convenience.
In 2011 I founded The ID Co. with a simple mission. To use the identity and data we already have with our banks to provide the convenience we all want – to sign up for new products and services in seconds. James works to empower us as consumers and create consumer trust online. We can do this with our data, especially that of our bank identity and data. That’s where the value is that will change the world.
The ID CO. achieves this through the power of Open Banking. We’re able to leverage the data identity you’ve already established through your online bank accounts to build a secure digital passport that proves you are who you say you are online, without the hassle of plugging in the same information into endless forms or having to continuously prove our identity and share the same data.
